Ramblings… October 7, 2006

Hmmmm…..it’s another day. Yep, it’s beautiful outside and I took my little sis with me run errands. I even bought her an ice cream cone…and now she has a white ring around her mouth!!!! LOL!!! It’s cute though…..

Well, our first big step toward this conference was made last night. A little later than I had hoped but nevertheless we got the email sent out to 300+ people announcing the website and details of the November conference. Allow me to take this moment to say:

HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, now I feel better. So people, go check it out and come!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s going to be SO fun not to mention absolutely GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m looking forward to attending a lot of the sessions myself. The Lord was so faithful to answer prayer after prayer and send just the right speakers!!!!!!!! This is a passage of scripture I read the other day and it really spoke to me. I hope it’s an encouragement to you too!!!!

“Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.” Psalm 73:25-26

My flesh and my heart faileth, but GOD is the strength of my heart…..and my portion FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How can you top that??????? HE is EVERYTHING we will ever need and should ever want. We are always going to fall short……but IN HIM we are perfect and have HIS righteousness. Anyway, I love it!!!!!!!

I also heard this the other day on the radio: “When we can’t know His hand, we can trust His heart.” We might not understand why He’s leading us down a certain path or why we have to experience certain hardships or trials, but we can ALWAY know that HIS way is best and HE knows exactly what He’s doing to conform us more to His Perfect Son!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
