Nothin’ New October 7, 2006
First of all, thanks to my bro for this site!!!!!!!! What would we do without a web guy in the family???? Not have or know how to do anything, that’s what!! Thanks J!!!!
Well….today I wasn’t feeling too great. I woke up at 5:30am with a really bad headache and had to go downstairs to take medicine before stumbling back into bed. It felt like another migraine coming on, but thankfully when I woke up later on I felt much better!!!
It was such a lazy day….it was definitely a “pj pants, way too big sweat shirt, fuzzy socks and pillow, mess of hair twisted on top of head, no make-up whatsoever” kind of day!!! Don’t you just LOVE those kind of days???? They don’t come too often!!!!! How nice to not have anything pressing to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jon and I did go run some errands and while we were out we stopped by the video store. Now, I was still in my interesting appearance described in the above paragraph, so I was letting him do all the getting out while I just drove him around. So, we get to the movie place and I asked him to rent “Love’s Abiding Joy”. You know, the latest movie in the “Love Comes Softly Series” by Janette Oke??? Well, he gave me the MOST hysterical look and said: “I’m a guy!!!!! You want ME to go rent that movie?????” Yes Jon, it’s fine…you can do it. He put his hand on his forehead and let out a sigh. However, he acctually got out and walked into the store!! (He did give me looks all the while!!!!) What a guy!! The things he’ll do for his sis!! Come to find out, it’s just in theaters……….oh well……now we’ll just have to wait!!! I know you’re anxious, but patience Jon, patience!!! (Kidding!!!!!!)
