Funny Happening… October 20, 2006
Ok, I forgot to tell you about this…
When we went to Wal-Mart on Wednesday, Kristin and I wanted to look at shoes. After going crazy over the same pair, we found our appropriate size and proceeded to pay for them.
After getting in the car I took mine out to look at them and fix the laces. It suddenly dawned on me that I had two left shoes. Screaming my surprise and alerting everyone in the car that we would have to go back to correct the problem, we AGAIN turned the car around to go fix the shoe situation.
Having use of my brain at that brief moment, I pulled Kristin’s shoes out just to make sure hers were fine, only to discover that she had a size 8 left shoe and a size 91/2 right shoe!!!!!!!!!!!!! What was funnier than that is that she had tried on the right shoe and stated that it seemed big for size 8!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
I think at this point a few derogatory comments were make about Arkansas hillbillies and what could you expect…. (By the way, my family came from Arkansas so I did not join in on this mockery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Yankee’s in the car (We won’t use names) were the ones talking!!!! Heh heh)
This stuff only happens to us….when we’re traveling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOTHERATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhh, well, makes life exciting!!!!!!!!!!!
