My Birthday… December 21, 2006

To be or not to be…………….that IS the question!!!!!!!

I had decided (as most of you know) that my birthday this year was not to be. HOWEVER, my friends thought that since it was my birthday after all, I should have no say whatsoever. Who really gets what they want for their birthday anyway???? That’s ridiculous…….. *grin*

Well, my birthday was on a Sunday this year and it seems everyone at my church remembered!!! I got sung to in Sunday School and then by the entire church. Thank you Pastor…..so, it seemed there was no escaping the event.

On Sunday, Kristin took me out to lunch which was sooooooooooooooooooo nice. Imagine, just the two of us at a restaurant and in no hurry, with no pressing matters to discuss and no problems to solve!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How pleasant!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you deary, it was so relaxing!!!!!!!! *smile*

After church the Humphreys had arranged to go downtown to hear the Messiah. Wow, it was wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It had been a few years since we heard it performed by the Houston Symphony and it was REALLY great!!!!!!!! David, Rachel, Katie and Katelin….THANK YOU for making my day so special. I love y’all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then the topper on the cake………..hey, that’s appropriate!! lol *smile* Sorry, blond moment….laughing at own joke and moving right along…………….

Melanie informed me last week that I was her property from 5pm Wednesday - 12pm Thursday. “Ask me no questions, I’ll tell you no lies” was the theme for this latest adventure. So, my escorts (aka Josh and Jon) drove me to a restaurant where I was greeted by:

Melanie, Amy, Bethany, Laura, Kristin, Sam, Tim, & Stephen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a group!!!! *smile*

We had dinner and then went back the Bogners for games which was very fun and highly exciting….especially guys against girls at “Password”. LOL Watching the guys huddle and scheme how to win was more entertaining than the game itself I believe!!!!! Sadly, they did beat us. How depressing. I mean seriously, a team of guys beat a team of girls at a WORD GAME??????????????? Well, they lucked out and got a word that they could give baseball hints for and we were sunk. I don’t even think I could pronounce one of the words Sam used!!!!!!! LOL It was great and we had a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
