He’s an Unchanging Savior… March 31, 2007

“He’s an Unchanging Savior” is the name of a song I just directed in Sunday School with the young ladies. That song has become one of my favorites lately.

Part of the song says: “So we will press onward, for Christ is still the same. What He was in ages past is what He will remain. And forevermore that is what He will be, for time and for eternity!! He’s an unchanging Savior, with an undying love. He’s an unchanging Savior, our life, our surety!!”

I love the promise that God will always be the same. No matter what happens in this world, not matter how many things or people change around us we can always be sure that our Father will ALWAYS be the same!!!!!!

Hebrews 13:8- “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever!!!”

You know, I am ever amazed and so grateful that the Lord faithfully gives us just what we need right at the moment we need it. Tonight was no exception. My mind was going a million miles a minute……….so many things lately that aren’t very clear, I don’t understand and so many things to sort through…..and the Lord is always calling each of us to simply rest in Him. I started reading my favorite book of the Bible, Psalms, and this verse encouraged me tonight….

Psalm 71:14-

“But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.”
