Never too old…. March 29, 2007

…..to play with duplos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *smile* I came upstairs tonight to find Jon and Sarah sitting on the floor building a zoo with duplos…..

Me: Game cube finally got old huh???

Jon: NO!!!! She needed help so I’m trying to get her started…………….that’s all!!!

Me: Ohhh, cool, we should build the giraffe’s wall higher though……

Hey, nothing was even color coordinating, I had to help them out. I mean, would you want to go the a zoo that looked horrific??? I didn’t think so!!!!!!!!!!! Well anyway, we were sort of hooked……

When the three of us older kids were, well, when we were kids, we used to play with duplos for HOURS and HOURS on end. Dad and Mom’s best investment!!!!!!!!!!! Duplos NEVER got old!!!!!!!!! I remember, when I was a little girl I always secretly wanted to be a duplo person for one day and live in the duplo houses I’d built. They were nothing less than spectacular!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep, I’m nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (but honest right???? At least give me that!!!!!!!!!!!!!) *smile*

Ok, so there we sat, working on the zoo………..then Mama came to tell us to go to bed.

Mama: What are y’all doing????

Me: We’re trying to build the zoo……..

Mama: Y’all are insane!!!!!!!!!

Jon: I know!!!!!! Playing duplos at 2am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mama: 2am nothing, you’re insane for playing duplos period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me: We’ll go to bed in a sec, we’re almost done……..

Jon: Yeah, anybody seen a small blue piece??

So, we finished our creation…….and I wouldn’t be any kind of “poster” without posting pictures……..have fun!!!!!! And go play with some duplos…………it’s great fun and highly recommended!!!!!!!

Me: Goodnight Sarah!!!

Sarah: Goodnight!!!!!………………….Sis???

Me: Yeah??

Sarah: Will you play duplos with me tomorrow????

Me: Maybe!!

Sarah: ALRIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! You’re the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me: Love you too, now go to sleep!!!!!!!!

Sarah: Goodnight!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, pictures….You’ll notice the guard standing guard (what else do guards do???? hello!!!!!!!!!) anyway, Jon found him a nice BIG gun…..not for the visitors, it’s just in case the tigers get out of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *smile* Now since we built a very modern zoo, Jon also had the brilliant idea to have “Segway’s” available for the zoo visitors. To rent of course, for a small fee….only to cover our costs………and the cost of living……and the cost of…………ok, but you want to ride through the zoo in style, you pay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You’ll notice our little luxury’s below…….oh and some crazy ones of us too!!!! Enjoy!!!!!!
