………a storm has come!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wowzers. It is green outside!!!! And rainy. And loud. And windy. And I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sigh……storms are great, they really are!!! *smile* So, I have soft music going and I’m looking out my window and watching the rain fall and it’s so peaceful. Very nice……………
We were going to go to the girl’s game tonight but alas it got canceled. Botheration. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow night. Hopefully the storm will be gone and it won’t be too wet to play. I was really looking forward to that game too. *frown* It’s ok though, now I get to enjoy a good storm!! *smile*
I miss my sisters. I really do…all of them!!!!! Too bad it didn’t work out for me to go to Big Sandy with y’all this year!!!!! Tooooooooo much to do, but hurry back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tonight I’m going to re-arrange my room. Yep, it’s time and I’m in the mood. *smile* My family will read this and groan. I don’t know why since I do it by myself and don’t even ask them for help. What a women - beds and dressers and everything. Ahh yes, I can do it!!!!! *wink-smile* I know what you’re saying family, you can’t ever come into my room in the dark because you’ll kill yourself since nothing ever stays the same longer than a few months. Oh well…I can’t help it when the mood to move furniture hits!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s so fun and I just love a fresh new look!!! *smile*
So Mel and I were out walking the other day and we saw this SUV with a mattress on top of it. Well, the mattress wasn’t tied down so they were driving extra slow to keep it from falling off. We thought it was rather humorous. Well, they turned onto the street we were walking on and when they passed us, they stopped. Three Hispanic men. My first thought: OH GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve had problems with them before since I guess I look Hispanic maybe, I don’t know. *frown* Anyway, they stared at us and the driver said something in Spanish…..when we didn’t respond, he said it in English. If you could call that English that is. He said: “You are the most beautiful women!!!” I was SO MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How dare he!!!!!!!!!!!!! They needed to move on before I….well, before I thought more horrid thoughts toward them….there was nothing else I could do, I was rather surprised and taken back. I was about to turn around and walk the other way without so much as a word when Mel said: “Gracias!!” OH THE EXASPERATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was the closest to them so I gave them a disgusted look until they drove away. Then I screamed. MELANIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She said: “Well, I didn’t know what else to say!!!” Me: “Well don’t say THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” HEAVENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We laughed about it and resumed our walk. Botheration. MEN!!!!!!!!!!! (strange men, not normal nice men!!! *smile*)
My bankers were back at it the other day. In the drive through: “Heeeeellllllloooooo Miss Erin!!!!!……..You know, you have got a killer smile!!!” Someone told me I should have said: “Too bad it doesn’t work!!” UGH!!!!!!!!! I wish I’d thought of that only he’s the really nice one and that might have been a little too mean for him. Sigh. Then, at the Walmart bank, the horrid guy was standing at the entrance….”Well, hello, hello, hello, look who just walked in and put a smile on my face!!!!!!!!!” I completely ignored him. Humph.
Today Sarah Beth walked into the sewing room and saw $45 sitting on the table. “Hey, is anyone going to use this???” LOL Oh man, what a riot she is. *smile*
I’ve decided to grow my hair out. Random comment, I know. *smile* We’ll see if I make it or get fed up and cut it!!
Oh, and I’m eating an avocado, tomato and bacon sandwich. Mmmmm!!!!!! *smile*
