Thought you should know… July 25, 2007
I am sitting in my living room watching, well, ok, let me make a slight clarification I’m NOT really watching it but playing on our DVD player has got to be the dumbest movie ever. I know people appreciate silent films and stuff, and I’m sure they’re great but uhh, yeah I’m just not into it. AT ALL. I was told by a member of my family (whose identity shall remain a secret for my own life’s sake) that this movie was “hilarious”. HUMPH. The only thing I’m finding funny is Mama, Jon and Kevin’s comments to the previously stated dumbest movie ever. Yeah, this is bad.
So, I’m catching up on emails, playing really ridiculous computer games (the kind a ten year old boy plays, yeah.) and posting nothing important just because I thought you should know what I’m doing on a Tuesday night, uhh, Wednesday morning at 2:39am. So, there you have it. You’re relieved now huh??? You were dying to know what I was doing, I know you were. Well, now you can rest in peace. Not die, just rest. Ok, this is good, I’m glad to have been a help.
Consider yourself updated, take a deep breath and smile….I am, I think this horrid movie is almost over and that my friends is good cause to SMILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sigh. Smile.
Lots of love and sweet dreams your way dearies!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here’s a nothing important comment to match:
For those interested the movie title is “The General”. The movie stars Buster Keaton, a very well known and loved silent movie star. The movie is set during the civil war….and for those who live in the south, by watching this movie you would think that the south won! LOL
Anyway, it’s a classic and only discerning people can watch a great classic like this appreciate it. Buster Keaton was original and funny, and BTW, did all his own stunts. Something you rarely hear of these days! Humph!
Thanks to those in my home who like great movies and can enjoy them. I had a great time watching The General with you. Just wish we could sit around more often and veg out…watching movies! LOL he he he
It was definitly an “artist’s movie”. I still don’t can’t comprehend the artistic talent behind that lightening bolt. wow.
Ok, well, like I said the movie was fun to laugh at anyway!!!!!!! And the crowd watching it wasn’t so bad either…..I’d say downright great actually.
I’m with you on the lightening Kev, wow is all I can say. It was so, so, so…….so realistic.
HAH!! Boy that sounded like LOADS of fun. You know Erin even the stupidest movie can be funny with the right people…and if you didn’t enjoy it with your mom and Jon then it was probably because you didn’t have ME there.
P.S. You need to read my Xanga post
Heh heh……it was stupid and it was fun. I laughed, a lot.
It would have been evvvvvvvven better to have you there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL Oh and I can’t read your xanga because our filter blocks them. BOTHERATION. Email it to me!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. I had a GREAT time catching up today!!!!!!! I miss y’all when you’re not around!!!!!
