Ahhhhh….. August 21, 2007
….what a joy….to wake up in the morning and not have to hit the floor running. It’s so incredibly wonderful, you have no idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *smile*
Things have been settling down again. We were able to spend a couple of days with Kevin, Brian and Garrison after the conference. It was so nice to just sit and do nothing. They left yesterday afternoon. *frown* Ahh well, “all good things must come to an end”….right gang???? *wink-wink*
After they left we went shopping for maternity clothes with Coo Coo. (My Aunt) She’s expecting her first baby!!!!!!!!! We are beyond excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *smile* I can’t wait. I’m quiting all my jobs to be full time nanny. Ok, not quite….I only wish!!!!! *sigh* God is good.
Today Mel and I went on a picnic. So very lovely. It was such a beautimously gorgeous day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *smile* We relaxed…in the midst of discussing ways to make next year’s conference better, we really did relax!!! *smile* Then we went back to the house and worked on our sewing project that got forgotten in the rush of conferences. We’re making very adorable matching sisterhood shirts. The fabric is so so SO cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We finished mine today and I think she will have hers done by tonight!!!!!!!!! Awesome work Mellie Moo!!!!!!!! *smile*

Aw shucks…I’m really not that awesome. I was playing with a group the other night and one of the banjo pickers made me want to go bust mine over a stump, he was so good. It’s fun though.
Sounds like ya’ll had a great time at the conference. That’s good. I know my brothers enjoyed it.

Conference was great!!! I don’t know how we’ve done them without your brothers before. They filled some really needed holes.
