*SCREAM* I can’t believe it’s August 1st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know how it is when something exciting is coming and it seems like it’ll be AGES before it gets here and then before you know it, it’s all over????? Yeah, well……..I always feel like conference time is ages away and then it’s here and then it’s over and then it’s sad. *sniff*
Sooooooo, here we are, August 1st and in two weeks we’ll be walking around taking it all in….the noise, the giggles, the cries, the good, the bad, the stressful, the funny, the absolutely adorable and everything else that comes with 850 children in one place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So work has been good but tiring. Last night Mr. Bogner said we should take the night off. We didn’t. I thought about it, it was a tempting offer….but we have too much to do. So instead we put in My Fair Lady and cut, folded and hole punched over 800 sheets of card stock. Heh heh heh. Good stuff!!!!!! *smile*
I got a really bad something on Monday night. I thought it was allergies but it’s kept up for three days now. I think it’s a cold. Botheration. I feel pretty lousy and my nose feels like sandpaper from blowing it so much. Time to buy Puffs Plus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sigh. Hopefully this will pass soon. I’m having a hard time focusing on work because all I want to do is go to bed….ahhhhh well. Such is life!!!! *smile*

Beth: I MEANT don’t eeeeeever….
Me: Suuuuuuuure you did!!!! *giggle*

Yesterday we swam for a little bit in the afternoon. Well, I didn’t want to jump in right away so for a while I just sat by the pool….then I spread out my towel and lay down. Next thing I knew I was waking up. Heh heh heh. I can’t believe I fell asleep!!!!!!!!!!! Apparently I got a toy frog thrown at me and a heart drawn on my back with sun screen. *shaking head* Both done by Mel of course….who else?? I didn’t wake up though. lol She is such a nut. Once I woke up and jumped in we had a grand old time…..spit wars with Beth (don’t ask) and a rousing game of make believe baseball and did you know you can tell secrets under water???? You can, we did it….it’s really good because that way no one outside the water or the spies next door hear you!!!!!!!!! It’s very effective!!! So Ruby, Pearl, Sapphire and Amethyst had a jolly good time and forgot all their trouble for a brief time. Life is so different in the water. Outside the water reality awaits, but for those moments you’re in, ahhhh…..fabulous!!!!!!!! *smile*

Heh heh….hey, when you just see a brown head at the top of a pile of covers you aren’t really sure who it is. Especially when we did the whole musical beds thing last night and didn’t sleep where we normally do!!!!!! Pretty funny. *smile*
This morning Beth and I were in the bathroom getting ready….Beth was singing “Old Time Religion”.
Me: Beth, you can’t hang on your parent’s religion……
Beth: I know….but….but…..
Me: Well???
Beth: Well I…..I……
Me: Yes???
Beth: I like the song and I can’t sing it unless I’m hanging on my parent’s old time religion………
lol…..she’s such a mess!!!! *smile*
