All I can say is…. October 5, 2007
BOTHERATION, he beat me to it!!!!!!!!!!!!! My brother posted a part in a movie on his website that I had saved as a draft two days ago and was going to post on mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ohhhhhhhh well.
Great minds think alike…….and so do the not so great ones. So which are we?? Ha ha ha….I don’t think I’ll answer that one.
Alright, well, here it is anyway………
Henry: Do you really think there is only one perfect mate?
Leonardo da Vinci: As a matter of fact, I do.
Henry: Well then how can you be certain to find them? And if you do find them, are they really the one for you or do you only think they are? And what happens if the person you’re supposed to be with never appears, or, or she does, but you’re too distracted to notice?
Leonardo da Vinci: You learn to pay attention.
Henry: Then let’s say God puts two people on Earth and they are lucky enough to find one another. But!!! One of them gets hit by lightning. Well then what? Is that it? Or, perchance, you meet someone new and marry all over again. Is that the lady you’re supposed to be with or was it the first? And if so, when the two of them were walking side by side were they both the one for you and you just happened to meet the first one first or, was the second one supposed to be first? And is everything just chance or are some things meant to be?â€
— Ever After
*smile* YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol That is my mostest favorite part of that movie!!!!!!!! *smile* Cracks me up!!!!!!! And you know, life can so totally be like that with soooooooo many different things!!!!!!!! Ohhhhhhhhh the confusion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank the Lord for His voice and guidance each step of the way!!!!!!!!!!
Welllllllllll, nothing new except that I haven’t felt very good for the past few days (guess that’s not really new) and today I got home from work, and after a shower I sat on my bed to catch my breath for a minute……..I woke up four hours later with a towel on my head, wet hair, dressed in workout pants, sweatshirt and fuzzy socks of course, no make-up and supposed to be walking out the door for practice. Don’tcha just love life??? *smile*
On a happier note: I walked outside this morning and it was 66 degrees, the sky was cloudless and blue and the air smelled like fall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know how it smells different when the seasons change?? As soon as I get that first hint of fall in the air something inside of me goes a little crazy and it puts me in a very lazy, dreamy, happy, carefree mood. Sigh. Fall!!!!!!! I dream of fall!!!!!!! Sigh. I wanted to skip work, go to the park, take a nice long walk, spread out a blanket and read all day long!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I snapped out of it, got myself together, threw kisses to Mel and Beth who were looking very adorable and waving from the sidewalk, and scurried off lest I be late. *smile*
Oh yes, and Jon, Savanna and I are going to Big Sandy on Saturday for a little bit of Family Camp. Jon’s staying all week and Savanna and I are only staying for a few days. (our babies will need us come Wednesday morning!!!) No, I am not going for cowboys, horses, canoe races, golfing, rappelling, swimming, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, relay races, or any other kind of physical exertion. AND……….I’m not going to socialize either. That was your warning ahead of time if you missed it. I’m going to see my brother and relax under some trees while reading a book….or daydreaming. Yes, I’m in a mood. Hey, don’t look at me, blame the pneumonia!!! Ok, ok, I’ll be good… *smile*
Well……have a lovely Friday dear ones far and near….and the far ones soon to be near…..which means the near ones will soon be far…..except for the ones that are going far as well which will keep them near after all….yeah. *smile* As for me, “Love Comes Softly” is calling my name….whhhyyyyyyy do I read stuff like that???? My only consolation at this point in the book is that I know it ends well. Siiiiiiigh. Alright, love and hugs from me to YOU!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. Incase you were wondering, ragweed = BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD news.
This was a good post. I liked it. A book and a tree sound REALLY good. Especially a non-textbook and a tree. In fact that’s a NOVEL idea! Maybe, if I have a few spare hours I could join you! I could re-read that printer book I (hee hee, or Beth rather) lent you. Or, maybe I would just re-read part of it, a certain paragraph I really love…I think you know the one I mean.
*sigh* Leave it to me to find the most romantic part of a book. Wait, did I really just type that? **Blinking** I think I just realized I’m rambling…could I be tired? I’m hungry, that’s for SURE!!!!! Maybe I could eat the chips and salsa that someone left in my room??–Or maybe not. That doesn’t sound appetizing. Maybe I’ll just go to bed. ok. yeah. that’s a good idea.
Erin, I TOTALLY agree with you. Ragweed is REALLY bad news. I have never had allergies like this before in my life. It is no fun to be sniffling, snorting, and sneezing while you’re trying to talk with someone!!!
I feel like I’m going to need a new head!!!
oh my, I suppose I should start packing huh?
Hey Yall - What is Ragweed?
Hi David. Here you go:
***
Ragweed is a pollen-producing and seed-producing plant that you find growing ALL over. Late summer and fall is ragweed season. After midsummer, the ragweed flowers mature and release pollen. Warmth, humidity and breezes after sunrise help the release. The pollen then travels by air to another plant to fertilize the seed for growth the coming year. People with allergies have specially-sensitive immune systems that react when they contact certain harmless substances called allergens. When people who are allergic to ragweed pollen inhale its allergens from air, the common hay fever symptoms develop. (Eye irritation, runny nose, stuffy nose, puffy eyes, sneezing, and inflamed itchy throat. For those with severe allergies, (ie ME!!!!!!! UGH) asthma attacks, headaches and impaired sleep are common symptoms as well.) This time of year is especially bad for those with asthma or other breathing difficulties.

We’ve had a lot of warnings on the news and stuff this week because apparently the ragweed pollen is extreme right now in Houston. So, that means BAD news for me!!! And there you have it…..
Not to but in…but:
~Ragweed stinks too. While babysitting, Sydney like to make nature soup.~ STINKY!! (LOL!)
Thanks Erin,
I had no idea what it was.
Uhg! Allergies are awful! I hope you’re all better soon!
It sounds like that pneumonia really took it out of you! I hope you get your strength back soon. Enjoy your time at Big Sandy…and give Kristin a big hug for me on her birthday if you’re in town…and give Melanie and Josh and Bethany and, ok, even Jon, a hug from me… and anyone else I know at Big Sandy that I’m really missing! Oh, and here’s a hug for you to pass on! *HUG*! (only side hugs for the guys, though. hehe
)
Liked your post. I love Ever After, and that has always been my favorite part in the movie! Also love Love Comes Softly! Have a blast at Big Sandy!!
