Ready or not… November 22, 2007
It has begun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The relatives began descending yesterday and by one o’clock this afternoon our little house was bursting at the seams!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sunday night I had another very very very bad headache and Mama was up half the night with me trying to rub my shoulders and back and head…telling my that crying really would make it worse. Well, it got better but still isn’t gone and yesterday it got bad again. So, I told my poor cousin, “I’m so sorry, I have to go to bed.” and I slept from 5pm until 11:30 this morning!!!!!!!!! Today was ok, but not much better and I’ve had to escape to my room for naps and some quiet lest I find myself in serious pain…
Now, you understand, my family tends to be……..uhhhh, well…….sorta…..maybe…loud?? Yeeeeeeeeeeah. Loud and crazy and WOW. SOOOOOOO fun, let me tell you….
I’m sooooooooooooooooo happy we all get to be together this year…..minus two. *frown* It’s been two years since Grandpa’s funeral since we’ve all been together. There is nothing like your own family. No matter how close you get to your friends or your friend’s family, no one understands like your own family and no one loves you, or would do anything for you like your family would. And it’s amazing to see that even when you don’t get to see each other very much, as soon as all of you get back under the same roof, it’s the same as it ever was. And it feels so comfortable and warm and right. I love my family. Each and every one.
OH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And!!!!!!!!!!!! Coo Coo says the baby must really like me. He kicks and kicks every time I put my hand on her tummy to feel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE feeling that baby move. THAT is an INCREDIBLE feeling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coo Coo says, “Wait til you’re on the other end of it!!!!!” *smile* Sigh.
Me: (The baby kicking) *SQUEAL* *GIGGLE* *SCREAM*
Alan: Watching you feel that baby is more entertaining than a TV!!
That’s the 2nd time I’ve heard that. *SMILE*
Lines that have made me laugh today:
“OH MY GOSH, we are SO related!!!!!!!!!”
