So, let me ask you. . . January 22, 2008
. . .how bad is it really to be 23 years old and listen to Hank the Cowdog in the car on the way home from work???
Uhh, no, the boys weren’t in the car with me.
Just mid to completely insane?? Hey, that’s not too bad…
What?!? Have I ever considered counseling?? Nooo…why would you ask that???
All I can say is, it’s nice to forget about real life and laugh at completely hysterical and totally illiterate dogs who think they’re smart and cool. Plus, I can seriously relate to Drover. For instance, today Drover said:
“*groaning* OHHHhhhhh…..I’m soooo confused I just want to go back to bed!!!”
Yeeeeeah, I’m there. Thank you Drover!!!!! (You just can’t beat knowing people, or dogs rather, on the same side of a struggle.)
Another favorite from today’s exciting adventure:
“We were so excited, here we were, sitting on the edge of the brink…..”
Pretty awesome. *smile*
So…here I am all grown up and admitting that I experienced childhood without ever hearing of Hank the Cowdog. Or at least that I remember. First time I remember hearing of him was when I started traveling with CI’s. What, oh WHAT, have I missed!!!!!????? :-O
Want another shocking confession. I don’t remember hearing of Patch the Pirate till I was like in my twenties! :-O
“Are you SHOCKED?” (said Jo to Laurie)
“Very.” (replied Laurie to Jo)
Love you, Erin Wychopen!
It’s no worse than me watching looney tunes. One of the best privileges of adulthood is to still act like a kid every once in a while
I don’t think that’s goofy, I think it’s GREAT! Good seeing you today…VERY good.
I think that’s awesome that you can still act like a kid every once in awhile (for me it’s a lot of once in awhiles) when you’re a “grown up”!! That’s part of what keeps you sane, so you don’t have to lead a boring, no fun life, just filled with all the responsibilities of becoming an adult.
