BABIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! February 8, 2008

What I couldn’t say in the last post because we were sworn to secrecy….

CONGRATULATIONS to Aaron & Laura on the birth of their precious baby boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Laura went in for an appointment yesterday afternoon and they went ahead and admitted her. After a loooooooong night and morning of labor, ups and downs, many, many phone calls at all hours of the night (we didn’t get a wink of sleep!!!!!!!!!!! *smile*) and half a dozen prayer vigils on the shower curtain (don’t even bother asking!!! *wink*) sweet little one was born today at 12:02pm. I’ll let them be the first to post the details on their site (www.aaronloveslaura.com) as soon as they’re able. His name is yet to be decided, but he is a big, strong, beautiful healthy baby and I am praising the Lord for another miraculous birth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And again, CONGRATULATIONS to my Aunt and Uncle on the birth of our newest little family member, Hannah Grace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Y’all, I kid you not, she is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Perfect and incredible!!!!!!!!! I have fallen head over heels in love with her!!!!!!!!!!! When I saw her my first thought was “I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” *sniff* Oh my soul, wow. They have asked we not post pictures of her online but if you email me I can give you the info to view my private album. They’re fine with it as long as I know you. So email me and see my beautiful baby cousin!!!!!!!!! *smile*

Needless to say, it was difficult to concentrate on CMT work all day yesterday with both families waiting for news of babies. It was incredible to get to go through this together though!!!!!!!!! Who would have thought that these two little ones, due a month apart would be born hours apart???? Wow. God’s ways are not our ways. Mel and I have grand plans for these two someday!!!  We’re determined to be related somehow!!!!!!!!!! *wink*

Earlier today we weren’t sure if we getting boys or girls or both…so to distract ourselves and kill time Mel and Beth made some origami stars of pink and blue, just to be safe you understand. They taught me how to do it but I don’t think I’m cut out to be an origami girl. Ahh well, I finally got it and  it was funny anyway!!!!! However, I was cut out to throw them in the air while Mel took pictures!!!! I’ll put some of those on Facebook later. *smile* There are a couple of pics for ya below…
