Happy February. . . February 1, 2008

So wow, it’s February 1st already. Heavens. Tonight we had quartet practice and we’re staying at the Shaffer’s house. It’s been an interesting night. I think we all had a veeeeeeery long week. I can’t speak without mixing up at least one word and I can’t follow a conversation to save my life, so I end up commenting on a conversation that took place ten minutes before when the rest of the gang is on to something else. So I say something, thinking I’m contributing and they turn and look at me with “What?!?” “Uhhh, never mind…” lol.

So, rather than come up with something fun or exciting to do, since we obviously don’t have the energy to do it, we merely sit. Yes, here we sit. Occasionally talking, mostly looking over each other’s shoulder to see which ever computer is most entertaining at the moment. A very different night for us. Heh heh. Kristin says we are old and tired. lol.

Behind the movie: Basically, I asked Jon to play “Windows of Heaven” for me on his guitar.

Jon: Windows of what??

Me: Heaven!!!! Windows of Heaven!!

(Not remembering how that song goes, he proceeds to sing his version of windows of Heaven, which I managed to catch part of on camera. He made me laugh SO hard. I only wish I had gotten all of it!!!! *smile*)
