Six Flags & Ear Aches. . . May 8, 2008

Yes….ear aches. BOTHERATION. This is NOT cool!!!!!! Last night, we spent the night at the Fezzie’s house since we were leaving extremely early the next morning for Six Flags. Well, I haven’t been feeling very good the past two weeks and last night I really started feeling bad. At some point I realized if I didn’t lay down I would fall over. So, I got in bed and fell asleep very fast. I tossed and turned and woke up at 2:30am crying. I couldn’t hear out of my left ear and I was in the WORST pain I have ever been in. *groan* I’ve had a lot of migraines and stuff but myyyyy word, this was by far the worst. I considered looking for a gun, finding a rope, wondered if Hannah’s second story window opened and finally decided on going downstairs to find medicine. Jonathan fixed me up with pills and after a few hugs and some “I wish I could do something” from Tim and Jon, I went back to bed….to cry until I drifted off around 4:30am. Hmm. *frown* That was a baaaaaaad night. All I can say is OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!! I figured I wasn’t going anywhere except the doctor the next day but when I woke up and things felt a little better I decided I might as well drug myself and go ride some roller coasters. So, I did. Pain killers every three hours and off we went!!!

So, Homeschool day at Six Flags over Texas!!!! Since we no longer have a Six Flags in Houston, we have decided to travel the country and get our roller coaster fix. *smile* Three cars, 10 people and three hours on the open roads found our group in Dallas, ready to take on everything in sight. And we did just that. WOO HOO!!!!!!!! A long, somewhat exhausting and painful day, but very fun despite it all. *smile*

Now we are home again and I am in for another long night. I’m hurting really bad and still can’t hear anything out of my left side. My right ear hurts pretty bad too, but not as bad as the other one…yet. *frown* I’m going to the Doctor tomorrow, so hopefully I’ll get some relief soon. *sigh* And that my friends, is my pitiful story with some fun mixed in!!
