About Me October 7, 2006
Hmmmm….about me….Well, I love life. I love that it’s unpredictable, it’s so fun and exhausting, yet full of joys and happiness, full of love and lessons learned. I love my family & my friends & would be happy to spend all my time with each one!!!!!!! I love to sing…all the time!! Especially with our wonderful group “Voice of Grace Singers”. When I sing, I feel as if I’m soaring. I also love to play the piano, violin and viola as well as take pictures, scrapbook, read, cut hair, baby-sit, decorate, watch chick flicks with girlfriends while painting toenails & doing facials, knit fuzzy scarves, roller-blade, play soccer, & go camping, hiking, fishing & horseback riding!!!!!!!!! I eat pickles with my ice cream for no apparent reason other than the fact that I like it and I can so why not? I tend to obsess slightly over disorganization but I’m getting better and can now refrain from cleaning people’s houses when I’m over visiting. I could be happy spending the rest of my life holding babies. I think I’ll have a dozen or so myself. My favorite place to be is outside on a cool day in the shade of a big tree with a good book or my journal…or sitting on a lovely swing situated on a cozy front porch. I love Fall. I love the smell in the air, the leaves that change colors and the ones on the ground that crunch under my feet. I love the crisp breeze and being just cool enough to know it’s Fall but not cold enough to be miserable. I love hay rides, bonfires and long walks. Oh, & one more thing!!!!!!!! I LOVE going on road trips!!!!!!!!!! *smile*
Wow Erin, great website. I’m assuming Josh did it.
I’ve been looking @ all of the photos posted on the site. I can’t beleive how different everyone looks. It’s been so long since I’ve seen them. We’re trying to work out a way that when we come into town, we could go to North Belt for a Sunday. That would be just great. Well of y’all are ever in the area, PLESE come by and see us, even if it’s for a short visit. Our house is allways open. Hope to see you all soon.
GO ASTROS!

Hello Erin, I know you claim to be just another pretty face but I understand you are stiring up quite the trouble in the gulf!
Why the nerve of you coming to south Texas just so you can rain on everyones parade! Just when things are calming down you have to turn in to a nasty little storm… shame on you. And of coarse you would have to be the first one of the season, you always have to be first… second just isn’t good enough for you..shame shame shame. I supose after this is all over you are gonna just pack up and leave us high and dry!!
Well if thats how your gonna be… BYE!
Well, I knew I’d have a famous child! Erin is being spoken about all over South Texas! She may be raining on the parade, but you have to admit….she’s cooled things off!
Her great grandmother Flossie is in Hawaii right now, but I think she’s going to be fine too! Great job family….keep it up!
hey whats not to love when you have so many adorable pic’s of my babies!!!! keep it up:)
Hi,
I am not sure who to email, but would love to bring a meal to the Hottman family or help them in other ways. I am a home school mom that would love to do something special for them. Please email me personally. Thank you so much for all of the updates. God is so good and faithful!!!!!
I came across your little blog that you wrote about the the year anniversary of the Hottman accident. I am a friend of the drunk driver and her family, and I can’t begin to tell you how amazing it is that so many people that are so close to the Hottmans have such a compassionate heart concerning the woman that took Mr. Hottman’s life! Your kind words are endlessly refreshing and I’m ever so greatful that you have all been able to forgive her after having done such a horrible thing. I’m a follower of the Lord with my every breath but I can only hope that if I were in your shoes that I would be as kind-hearted and forgiving of Amanda and her horrible mistake. I’ve heard a lot of bad things said about her, and it’s somewhat ironic that the people who the tragedy affected most are the ones with the nicest things to say about it all. Your prayers for her and her family have not gone unanswered, the family is doing well dealing with the consequences of her actions. I hope that you are all pleased with the outcome of the trial, and I think now we’re just all praying that her time in there is very soberring and that she can come to the Lord so that when she does get out she will be a much better person and will never think of putting another soul in the position you’ve all been put in! Pray that she will emerge a devoted mother and daughter and sister to the people who are on the outside now, being criticized on her behalf! Thank you again for all of your kind words, and your loving, forgiving hearts, and please pass that on to the Hottmans. The quote about Mrs. Hottman saying she didn’t hate Amanda, that she forgives her simply broke me, and I’m eternally greatful that you are all such outstanding people! I can’t say thank you enough, and I’m very sorry about all you’ve been through and all you’ve had to deal with over the past year! I will continue to pray for the Hottmans and all those close to them, and we need to all continue to pray for Amanda, I believe that now she’s the one who needs it most!
Great site, exactly what I was looking for, I can’t get your RSS feed to work right in google chrome though, is it on my end?
