Tis the season…. April 3, 2008
…for sneezing and coughing, nose running and throat itching, and my personal favorite, raging headaches that turn into migraines when not treated properly. *SIGH* Looooovely season this. *smile*
In other news, far more exciting than the first bit, the Hottman family is now home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were able to go home a week ago Friday. They are very happy to be back in their own territory where things can get back to normal somewhat. Everyone is recovering well. Mrs. Cristy has the longest road ahead and the most painful with her injuries. Continue to pray for her healing!!!!
As you can imagine, it’s also been difficult emotionally since they got home. It’s hard to no think about the reality of Bro. Dan’s death now that they’re in their house again. God is faithful and is their comfort but it will be a long process for the family. Please remember each of them in your prayers as they walk through these days.
Mrs. Cristy has decided not to hold a memorial service. Plans were being made for one when the family decided they couldn’t go through that. Aunt Mori told me that Cristy said goodbye to him at the family viewing in the hospital and just couldn’t go through another one. She was concerned about other people wanting a memorial service but of course this is about the Hottman family and whatever they want to do is most important. Thank y’all for your support and love for the Hottmans!!!!
